PTFE Guide Belts from Fietz – Keeping Forces Under Control
Fietz guide belts have been specially developed to ensure excellent guidance of pistons and rods in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. They are designed to absorb lateral forces and minimize resistance. Thanks to their low friction coefficients and good emergency running properties, they are also ideally suited for applications with poorly lubricating media or dry running.
Fietz Guide Belts at a Glance
Fietz PTFE guide belts are characterized by high load-bearing capacity and excellent sliding behavior, even during dry running. This results in excellent performance for pneumatic cylinders or operation with poorly lubricating pressure fluids. The coefficient of friction depends on various factors.
Fietz PTFE guide tapes can be supplied by the meter, but also cut to size and grooved.
For cut-to-length guide strips, the slot width must be taken into account at a cutting angle (G) of 45° or 60°.
