Toolmaking

Tool & Mold Making
 – Precision from a Single Source at the Radevormwald Site

At its Radevormwald site, the Fietz Group combines its injection molding technology operations with its own state-of-the-art tool and mold making facility. This is where high-precision injection molds – from prototypes to production molds – are individually developed, manufactured, serviced, and maintained.

We utilize modern milling centers capable of efficiently producing complex tool geometries with dimensional accuracy.

Production is complemented by in-house wire EDM, which is particularly well-suited for delicate contours and high-precision cuts. For detailed countersinks and complex internal contours, we operate our own die-sinking EDM machines. Surface grinding and surface treatment, as well as in-house welding processes, round out the manufacturing spectrum.

Why in-house toolmaking is the best solution for your plastic parts:

Expertise

Expertise

Tool development & design using an integrated CAD/CAM system (Cimatron) – supported by engineers through mold flow simulations to optimize filling behavior and minimize warpage risks.

Maintenance and Repair

Maintenance and Repair

Regular maintenance extends the service life of the tools and ensures excellent product quality over long production runs.
