In the hydraulic industry, the Fietz Group uses various plastics depending on requirements for load-bearing capacity, sliding behavior, and chemical resistance. PTFE, which is known for its excellent sliding properties and chemical resistance, is machined and is often found in guide strips, bearings, and ball valve seals.
The company’s proprietary polyurethane materials, marketed under the FiPur® brand, are used for static and dynamic seals, particularly in hydraulic cylinders.
PEEK components are used in high-temperature and high-pressure applications.
NBR and FKM from the FiLomer® portfolio are ideally suited as seals for oil- and temperature-resistant applications.
