Summer party and 50th company anniversary
On Friday, 28.06.2024, the Fietz Group invited guests to the summer party and 50th company anniversary on the company premises in Burscheid.
The gates opened at 5:00 pm in beautiful weather and full of anticipation.
All employees and their families, former colleagues, neighbours, service providers and long-time companions were invited. Each guest received an admission wristband and was then able to find out about the history of the Fietz company on a specially created timeline.
Of course, a summer party means that the children don't miss out either. A large tent was specially erected to provide entertainment and a varied program was offered by the Kölner Spielecircus (momentia GmbH). There was everything from face painting to colorful balloon animals. Those who dared were allowed to get active in the tent. Whether it was a human pyramid, spinning plates or jumping over a burning torch, it was all great fun.
Maryo Fietz took the opportunity to welcome the guests in person. He recalled the beginnings of the company, which started in 1974 in the garage of his parents' house. Many of our former colleagues were there at the time and often had to smile. His speech ended with the opening of the buffet.
This year, the catering company Riemann from Remscheid took care of the physical well-being. Lahmacun, pasta, fries and currywurst were served at several stations. There was a large crowd and the food was delicious. For dessert, there was ice cream, popcorn or cake and coffee from the café bar.
The guests had lots to talk about and were also wowed by a magician's amazing tricks. They laughed and danced to atmospheric music.
Udo Willius from Hilgen has been accompanying us with his magic photo box at our company events for many years. The queue was long and numerous souvenir and family photos were taken, as the selection of props was once again very large and original.
This program item is a must when the Fietz Group celebrates.
It was a wonderful party that we will remember for a long time to come.
