CO2-neutral warehouse
After almost three years of construction, the new CO2-neutral warehouse of Fietz Thermoplast GmbH in Radevormwald is about to be put into operation.
The building, which has a KfW 40 sustainability rating, will be climate-neutral in the future thanks to low-temperature underfloor heating, heat recovery, a heat pump and a photovoltaic system.
With a total area of 1190 m², the company is relying on modern infrastructure, digitalization and sustainability to strengthen its logistics processes and enable further growth.
The warehouse has around 1,300 pallet spaces and is operated with a semi-automatic forklift system. There are also offices and social rooms at the front of the hall.
